Steel Schooner with concrete ballast

I do not have any other pictures of the bad spots this is what the broker sent me it is near the bow thruster.. we will most likely look at her after the holidays and be able to put hand on we are awaiting the blueprints and construction of he which will let us know exactly what her build is and then we can go from there yes we will get a good deal on her but i dont want to go broke bringing her back to life.....

I would assume you are getting a good deal on this boat and tell you not to worry too much. If steel rusts through it will begin to leak slowly and you will have lots of time to patch it and pump out. If ribbing and plate are shot, it's a no brainer to cut out the plate and hammer the concrete, assuming you are on the hard, and rebuild the steel.
The up side is you can go out and hit things and keep on laughing and sleep through a thunder storm. Anyone who's ever been to jail knows how to weld and steel is cheap.

Yeah, not joke. One of the very first things I did with our big boat was wack a submerged piling at 7 knots. Picked us right up. Must have run over it straight on. Can't even find the spot on the 2" shoe.
