Stainless Bow Anchor Guard

I had seen these installed for the same problem I've had with damage from my anchor,- especially when raising it to the anchor davit in a chop.

I had a local fabricator bend a piece and we through-bolted it at the stem.

'bedded with 5200 and I'm off cruising and anchoring out again!

Re: Stainless Bow Anchor Guard

Something like this also has an advantage when hitting docks and boats head-on :

Well, that sure is a beauty! I trust "hitting docks and boat" is not why you call it a recreational trawler. I'm afraid mine will only keep the anchor scrapes and chips from my bow. I'll need to steer clear of the docks and others!
