Source for Spare Keys for Volvo ignitions

Wondering if anyone has a source for getting spare keys made for my catamaran? There's no code written on the key and I haven't been able to find a number on the ignition(s).

Volvo keys are cut to code. They have to be special ordered from a Volvo dealer. US cost is about $45.00 per key.

Sounds like you've had experience with this. If so, where was the code printed? Bought the boat used and there was not paper work showing a code. I have the two seperate keys but no codes imprinted on them. I've spoken to a couple Volvo dealers. First one referred me to a more local Volvo dealer in my area who then told me to just buy two new ignitions.., Weird.., There has to be a more logical way to get a spare set of keys made.
