Source for grommets and press

We're about to build a new dodger with our Sailrite Fabricator but grommets remain a problem. I bought a Yescom grommet press, great machine, but the supplied grommets were brass coloured steel, no use to me. I tried to buy stainless grommets for it but they did not fit the dies.
I looked at Sailrite's press, the W-1 but it doesn't seem that substantial.
Amazon has Stimpson, expensive.
Is there another option, solidly made with proper marine grommets available that fit?

Doesn't the Pres-N-Snap tool / dies / fasteners fit the requirements?

That tool has worked well for my application.

Where are the eyelets used in your dodger? Size?

Sailrite seems to have the biggest assortment of grommets that I've seen in one place. Have you emailed or chatted with them?

The only other option I can suggest, besides a chandlery, is a local sail loft or tarp fabricator; and they of course have hydraulic or heavy-duty presses.

I'm talking to Stimpson directly, they put together a package of grommets and tools for me. A lot of their stuff is not online.

Re: Source for grommets and press

I just finished a sail stack pack and had the same issue. With the Press n snap and correct dies I couldn't fully deploy the grommets in brass or SS, with the hole already punched. I ended up taking it to a sail shop and they put them all in for $45. They used spur grommets, which are sturdier, much better than I could do and well worth the cost. The substantial presses are very expensive.

If you can use #5 spur grommets for your project, I have some extras I’ll send you super cheap. How many do you have to set? Why not use die set and hammer?
