Source for Cabinet Hardware

I'm in the planning stage of new cabinets and drawers for my boat, so I've been searching for marine grade cabinet hardware. Here is one that blew me away because it has many of the replacement parts that I need when repairing other boats: Marine Latches and Mobella hardware.

If anyone has found similar resources, please post them.

In addition, I just learned about over-extension drawer guides that allow 150% drawer extension. The most intriguing unit is made by a French company, Chamberlan (http://www.chambrelan.com/en/pages/g...res/super.php4). If any one knows of an equivalent product, available in the U.S., I'd be very grateful to know more.

Check out Antique Cabinet & Furniture Hardware :: Whitechapel Ltd. ... not marine but excellent restoration hardware, quality hinges that don't have steel pins, latches, etc.

Can't find a web presence for them but call England and get the catalogue... push button metal door latches, lot's of other very good stuff. The print catalogue is great, worth the phone call, and it's simple enough to call and order from them.

This is the cabinet hardware found on Bristol Channel, Hunter and other boats. I needed this to make repairs on customer boats, as well.

A lot of upper-end builders are using Sugatsune. They have drawer slides and european type invisible hinges in stainless. Also drawer latches. You can buy Sugatsune from a variety of sources. It's not terribly expensive.

We have been referred to Rockler's in the Keaney Mesa area. They have full open drawer slides. I have phone them for information and was very pleased with the response. If interested I have their phone #. Hope this helps. Diane

After looking at these guys website, they seam to have some stuff I'm looking for (Southco) and it would appear that they ship to Canada.

Anyone have any experience with them?
I'd sure like to know if they are good or bad to deal with.

I've bought quite a bit of Sugatsune - it's much more widely available than it used to be. They also bought Lamp. I've always been happy with the quality. The descriptions are very clear about the materials in each piece (e.g. stainless, zinc, etc.).

Dmarina, Thanks re: Rockler. I go there fairly regularly to check their stock. I was looking for the cabinet latches, drawer guides and other hardware that I am finding online at some of the places folks have volunteered here. The people at Rockler's have been quite helpful in the past, especially with odd-ball finishes such as tung oil and specialty stains. They have some neat hardware, especially stuff to handle computer cables, etc. But nothing to match the existing hardware I need to repair my customers boats. Oh well, can't have everything. Thanks for mentioning them as a local source. We are really lucky to have such a variety of suppliers in this area.
