Solar Power

Hey. I have a interesting posting.

I haven't seen anything about solar panels on sailboats. Is there anyone here on the forum who has these devices onboard their yachts?

And if so. Do they collect enough energy. So you do not have to start up the engine. And draw all the juice out of the batteries?

Could you use the solar panels during the day. And use the batteries at night? At least that's what I would do!

Any ideas. Or further postings to this would be appriciated.

Regards,

Kevin

see response to your post on wind power. I have a 180 watt solar panel.
