Slowly but Surly

Here is an update... and as of so far the current progress on my refit project.

A before picture of my Perkins 4-154..The only real reason it came out was to facilitate all the other things needing done to satisfy the insurance co. so the yard wanted it and the gen set out of the boat..

I took advantage of that and went through the head and also sand blasted it to bear metal..painted with a rust encapsulator just in case..and then with high temp engine enamel...a couple pictures as it sits in the boat right now...I wanted to paint the beds with white epoxy but I got hung up at work the week they decided to re instill the engine so I will now have to worm my way in there to get it done...all hoses you see will be 100% replaced with new...as is the sound barrier and wiring.

I watched another Summer come and go with out so much as getting the hull wet but its getting closer

Scott,

It's one step at a time, and you're doing great. The time passing, the pain, the cost, and your patience will make it all the sweeter for you, and yours. It's one step at a time........i2f

Well one out of three multi hullers with any amount of brains...to be polite and encouraging is about all I could hope to expected...

But all kidding aside I know you guys love me ...

But thanks everyone...

It has been an ordeal i2f but the end is in sight ..even if its still a long looking tunnel...I rejoice in every day.... as the Lord makes them only one at a time...and today Im at least vertical...

The engine is looking real nice Scott...you know the saying "if you do it right, you do it once".............

You're going to have such a feeling of confidence when you get back in the water.
For me there are few things more satisfying then getting rid of question marks as far as systems reliability goes!

BAM…another one bits the dust!!

One thing about Scott's boat after this. There will be NO questions about systems because they're all NEW.
