Sealing Water Tanks

I want to pass on some info on a product that I found that might be helpful to others.

Our water tanks had several holes in them and were severely pitted. I have coated the inside of the tanks with MACROPOXY 646 NSF. It can be special ordered from Sherwin-Williams. It is a two part epoxy that is specifically made to line potable water tanks. One of my employees used to work in a railroad yard and they used the product to coat the interior of railcar potable water tanks. If it can hold up to the rattling of a railcar, it should do fine on a boat.

Roger:
Is the MACROPOXY 646 NSF for use on metalic water tanks (not poly')?
Thanx
Gord
