Seacock Seal Question

Hello Group. I have a Shannon 28 with the cone stye seacocks. The upper part where the hose attaches to is able to rotate. I noticed water was leaking out of it, so I closed the seacock and removed the barbed bronze piece that the hose attaches to. It has what appears to be a leather oring/washer. Does anyone know where to find replacements? I just put some Lifecaulk in and tightened it up. It is leak free, but I will no longer be able to rotate it.

The hose attachment is called a "tail piece" and the leather washer is a "tail piece washer". They are used when you need to attach a hose to a straight male thread. The old Wilcox Crittenden seacocks used them.

Groco sells tail pieces, they probably can supply the washers. I'd probably just make one.

I would just get thick gasket material (for water) from an auto parts store and cut them.
