Sailomat 3040 Manual?

Hi,

I have an old Sailomat 3040 on my boat. I want to keep it in place but do not understand how it works. Does anyone have a manual? If so a copy would be very much appreciated.

Also, does anyone have any experience building a wind vane? That is just the vane part?
