Hi All, my Cavalier 32 looks like it needs the boot around the
rudder shaft entry point replaced. It appears, from stretched arm digital photo's, to be a rubber boot secured with Jubilee Clips at the base around a
fiberglass "Cone" and again at the top, most likely onto the shaft. Not being familiar with these, can someone outline how it works. Is the boot/Shaft surface lubricated, or does the rubber twist as the shaft turns? s there a recommended modern replacement. BTW, really don't want to drop the shaft and
rudder post.
Cheers
Keith
