Rod rigging with cracks

I am having my rod rigging serviced. The rigger found some very fine hair lines on the surface of stainless steel. This can not be seen or felt by touching the surface but after dye testing. There are some photos attached. The rigging is 15 years old however its been pulled apart every 5 years and inspected. The previous owner said that those fine lines been there before and even Nautor Swan guy said by looking at photos that its possible that those lines been there since new. What is the case......... is it replacement after 15 years regardless of the condition of the rods? Please note that I have already had lot of opinions and would be great to get some solid information.

Re: Rod rigging with cracks

If the rigging people say it is OK, it's OK.
