Replacement Recessed Portlights

our new to us boat needs replacement portlights, they're taiwanese junk Corroded and badly leaking, I've pulled one for measurements -- they're recessed into the hull and there is no outer flange at this point, they were just screwed in, no wonder they're leaking!

I'm having a hard time finding anything designed for that hull thickness, it looks like I'll have to go with New Found Metals extended stainless portlight, not a bad thing just pricey since we have 9! to replace eesh....

the current portlights are about 1.75" recessed into the hull

I am having trouble with leaking portlights I read about Captain Tolley's Creeping Crack Cure. It seems too good to be true. I ordered it anyway. I will post the update and some photos showing if it works or not.

That stuff works amazing. I two more seasons out of my ports after buying the boat. I did find that it needed two or three applications to seal some bad leaks. Just make sure you wait 24 hours between coats and wipe up any seepage.
Good luck
