Replacement Flybridge Instrument Panel?

Hi all, the flybridge on my 28' Uniflite Mega has a removable console that mounts all the gauges, as well as throttles and shifters. I brought it home one night and it cracked all to hell (almost 40 years old, out in the sun). Where can you find new ones, does anybody custom make them or is it easier to make yourself? It's about 30" wide.

I've made a few of my own panels with FrontPanel Express. They give you the software to design your own panel then you can order it custom made from them.

Front Panel Express:*Front Panel Design Software and CAD Conversion Service

One winter I designed and had them cut my elec dist panel.

The latest project was a mimic panel

There are other companies that will reproduce your panel. I think genuinedealz offers this service but I found it much more rewarding to do my own. I'll also do my dash panels with Frontpanel Express.

Re: Replacement flybridge instrument panel?

Another thought. Th OP's console is also used to mount his shifter and throttle controls. Will these panels withstand the weight and forces applied to those controls over and over? What is the material and thickness? The original material and thickness would be helpfull for us to help the OP come up with a solution.

Those panels are a thing of beauty.

Marc Rogers of mobile marine electronic service (MMES) does an amazing job of custom panels...

Assume you are referring to the engine instrument panel? There are no new ones. But, if you are good with your hands, and have the tools and know-how, it isn't difficult to make a replacement. And you don't need a computer program. Use the old panel (acrylic?) as a pattern to transfer the hole pattern to new material.

Or hire a pro.
