Repairing soft spot in deck

Hi
Does anyone know where there are good step by step instructions online for redoing soft spots on the deck?

Thanks

Rot Doctor site is another good source. I have taken to keeping a can of their CPES aboard and throwing a coat on any wood that seems a rot candidate. It has yet to fail me.

Scroll down to near the bottom for deck repair:

Wood preservation, rot repair, and restoration using epoxy resin on boats, homes and log homes.

Deck rot

Wow. Thanks for your responses.
These sites are exactly what I am looking for.

I'll be sure to let you all know if there's another question I run into, and let you know eventually how it goes.

Thanks
J

Both those sites have excellent information. Be careful not to fall into the category of drilling holes and injecting when the area is too large. If the area is over a square foot, it might be best to cut the skin and replace the core. I did this to my Tartan Blackwatch 37 to both side decks. If you do a search on decks you will find the thread. I detailed the method.
