repairing scratches and chips

I have a blue hull with a few scratches and a round area 1 1/2 inch diameter that are down to white surface. the blue hull is algrip. Is there a way for this to be repaired DIY?

Go to the Awlgrip website, and order a bottle of the touch-up paint in the correct colour. I have the bottle in my toolkit now, ready to repair any scratch. Works very well.

However, many white scratches are in fact white plastic on top of the paint, which will remove with some acetone.

No. Unless you are experienced at blending paints. A decent tech with a a touch up gun and a buffer could get you close. DIY with your experience would show.
