No question. Boaters get gouged all the time. A couple days ago I needed 3 5"x 1/2" bolts with nuts to reattach my bobstay. A certain well known purveyor of boat hardware
would sell me bolts only for around $25 USD EACH. A local fastener shop sold me all three with nuts and washer for $20.
supplies, solvents and such I will go to the local building supply or grocery store. It takes a while, mostly by word of mouth, but there are some good products out there. Even for marine
products a little shopping
pays. A 16 oz can of McLube is about $28 at West Marine
, $16 at Sears and $13 at another marine store
It pays to check with others and shop. !!
