Repair damaged barrier coat?

A previous owner applied 5 coats of epoxy barrier coat to my hull at least 10 years ago. Until now, there has been no evidence of damage or deterioration to the coating. When I hauled the boat last week, a 4 square inch piece of the coating cracked and flaked off. This spot was under the lift sling.
I would like to spot recoat the damaged area. I am wondering if West Systems product, Gluvit would be a good material for the recoat. It is available in small quantities instead of the expensive gallon containers for other barrier coatings.
Any advice?
