Regalvanizing Chain MD / VA Area - Help Needed

Hi

I am trying to arrange to have our anchor and chain regalvanizied. We are UK cruising boat with no road transport. Currently in Annapolis but will be leaving the boat at Solomon’s Island MD over the winter. I have found and spoken to a firm in Richmond VA that can do the work. The min order is $375 or 338lbs, we have about 200lbs. We are looking for any boats that needs their Anchor/chain regalvanizing who would like to join us in making up the minim order weight and sharing the cost of transport. If we exceed the 338lbs, each extra pound is $1 approximate.

If it helps we can move the boat closer to a road transport point.

We have tried to find replacement metric chain in the USA along with changing the gypsy to fit US chain but the cost is very high.

Any help offered would be very much appreciated

Cheers
