A simple solution if you have a counter top beside the loo is to cut a top hatch in it, use a piano hinge so it swings up with the TP holder mounted upside down underneath it.

This is what we have, which also gives us easy access to the diversion valves and thru-hulls….. as well as providing ample storage for extra rolls.

I found few types of toilet caddies in better living products online .. Check it out and look whether it'll be useful for you. They don't seem to be too expensive. Hope you'll find it useful.

Re: Recessed Waterproof Toilet Paper Dispensers

water proof toilet paper. awesome idea--but has that not already been invented--and called plastic wrap?
why would ye want water proof toilet paper?
there is a lovely teak wood tp holder on my boat---but i have yet to find waterproof paper.
for boats with sit down showers in the head--- put the paper away until after the shower.
is what i used to do before i bought a boat with separate stand up shower and a teak wood paper holder.
thing is gorgeous--almost donot want to use it, it is soo very pretty. using it hides the wood.

I'm not finding any that are recessed. Plelegics idea is a good one.
Frankly I don't like to holders. The paper always breaks where you don't want it to. On our boat we just put the paper in the cabinet.

The shiny stuff we had in schools in the UK many years ago was waterproof. And everything else proof.

Real John Wayne TP - wouldn't take sh*t from anyone.

They must have had the same supplier here in Canada, grey squares of something like single ply waxed recycled newspaper.

Re: Recessed Waterproof Toilet Paper Dispensers

I have an excellent product which is absolutely shower resistant.
It's from an Italian company called NUOVA RADE.
The thing i saw on the West website seems pretty useless at keeping even dust out.
Just google ......nuove rade toilet roll ...... go to images.
Hinged door with a good rubber seal, recessed. Should do the trick. An excellent product.
Don't know if Nuova Rade are in the US but they have good market penetration in OZ and in the UK.
Cheers Brian.

Re: Recessed Waterproof Toilet Paper Dispensers

I have regular TP hangers, but they are mounted on the inside of the cabinet doors. If you shower the doors are closed and it stays dry, need to use the head, open the cabinet door.
