Raymarine Autopilot Linear Drive

I have a Raymarine linear drive type 2S. The Core Pack 300 course computer is shot. How can I buy a new or used one? None on E-Bay.

I am living aboard in cartagena, Colombia which soewhat complictes the problem.

thanks,
Jerry Poore

these type 300 core pack units that are "new" ex-autohelm stock often come up on ebay in the uk they sell for around £250.

there must have been a container full that went "missing" when autohelm was taken over by raymarine!

Re: Raymarine Autopilot Linear Drive

The Ray drive unit can be controlled by most vendors AP computers, eg Newer Ray, Furuno, Simrad, ...... So you don't need a Core Pack 300 to control it.

Re: Raymarine Autopilot Linear Drive

Strongly suggest you do NOT use the old Core Pack 300 to drive that unit. As mentioned, any of the new ones will drive it. I had three of those units that failed. Ones on EBay sometimes do not work. They are not well fused and fail.
