Port Light Parts for 1965 Pearson Alberg

Anybody know any sources for spare/replacement parts for Port Lights for a 1965 Pearson Alberg? My dogs sheared off and I need new gaskets.

For the small opening ports or the non opening salon windows?

Small opening ports. A few of the dog down bolts sheared right off like nothin when trying to open the wing nuts and the gaskets are dust.

Ouch. Your best bet might be checking marine salvage yards for ports. Or you can try getting custom ports made to replace the old ones. I had a hell of a time finding parts for my Alberg.

Are these gray plastic? Might be Beckson opening ports which is what I had on my 1984 Pearson.

I replaced several of mine with SS New Found Metal ports but saved the old Beckson's for spares. If I recall they are 5X12 ports. Maybe can make you a deal on the old ones if this is what you need

The gaskets on my '66 vanguard were easy. McMaster Carr has the rubber stock for that. The bronze screwsay be a little more difficult, I'd check salvage yards, or one o the port manufacturers for parts.

You might give boatpartsferret.com a shot. It was designed to make a situation such as yours painless as possible. You can send one email that will go out to many used parts vendors worldwide or local, or just search the directory manually.

Good luck.

East Coast or West Coast Triton ... it makes a difference. If it's West Coast then one of the guys from the San Fran Fleet was putting together a group order...but they're pricey.

Mine is an East Coast boat and the guy that did the refit was able to weld some pieces back together and make it work like new! He also replaced the gaskets. Try James Baldwin for more details (Atom Voyages - Home).
