Hi everyone
I have a
Perkins 4.154 (62hp)
diesel originally built in
Florida.
One of the flexible pipes feeding from the
oil pump to the
oil cooler is starting to show signs of leaking. Other pipes leading from the Borg Warner Velvet Drive
gearbox to the oil cooler are also suspect.
Perkins no longer offer spare
parts for these and cannot even give me any specifications for the flexible pipes
My problem is I need to buy new pipes BUT I dont want to disturb the existing ones until I have the new ones in case I damage them beyond refitting and become disabled.
Does anyone know the thread types and sizes for these pipes.
Also when I do replace them will I need to bleed the oil cooler to remove any air or does the system handle that itself.
thanks
Pete
