Parts from France

I need to order some parts from the Kent marine catalog. Anyone have a contact or company in the larochelle area for sourcing and shipping French OEM equipment? I emailed kent directly 3 or 4 times they don't reply.
Thanks

France is basically on vacation until the 5th January. Then there will be an endless stream of office parties. So it is not the right time to try to connect with anyone over there at the moment.

Gee Paul...

You don't say.... Boy that seems just plain downright rude...

Oh... I see you were talking about the French marine industry... Makes sense then... I have absolutely no idea why these guys FAIL so completely at customer service...

Here's a list of my recent attempts... at least 5X EACH... With French translations, with the exact same result... Crickets chirping

Sparcraft
Wauquiez
JP3
Dubois design

More of a bump than anything so maybe somebody can see this and actually help you out...

But also a raw nerve rant...

And then there's spring holiday... summer holiday... and shortly thereafter... the actual holiday season...

Re: Parts from France

Yes I called Nantes 2x they gave me an email address and never answered. I even tried asking in French.
I assume they are not interested in either exporting parts or retail clients.
I thing someone could have a nice business sourcing and shipping parts from there considering everything that's built out there
Regards
Paul

Re: Parts from France

I understand their holiday periods. My initial contact with them was in September after they came back from August shutdown, and most recently end of November.
That's why I was hoping someone knew of small independent who offered a service.

Paul

Re: Parts from France

I don't think Kent Marine do retail. They sell to chandleries - at least for the pleasure boat market.

However, if you have a panamax cargo ship to kit out, they might sell directly to you.

The Kent Marine pleasure boat stuff you will probably be able to get through most European chandleries. There are several UK mail order chandleries.
