Painting TBS Non-Skid Deck

Hi,
I have TBS non skid covers on my deck and they are a little bit worn out and the brown base layer can be seen through the original grey texture.
I am thinking about overpainting it to extend the life with 2-3 years and then replace it.
Have any of you done it? What did you use.

Note: this is a polyurethan rubber like non skid mat which is glued on top of the deck, not a non skid hard surface.

Cheers
Geza

Re: Painting TBS non skid deck

Can you paint them with Interdeck? I just started applying it to the non-skid areas on my boat and it seems to have good properties - easy to apply, looks good. It's a polyurethane paint so shouldn't it be compatible with your covers?

Suspect the best way to be sure is buy a tin and try it....

Re: Painting TBS non skid deck

I could try but I am also looking for real life experience.

My concern is that the TBS non slip cover is quite flexible so I would expect that a normal paint would crack.

In the back in my mind I was also thinking about a special paint which can be applied to inflatables...
