To get the three year or five year life do you periodically snorkel and scrap the bottom of your boat? Scrap only where you see growth or scrap the entire bottom? Use a 4” scrapper? How often, once a month or when needed after inspection? Thanks Dave

If you need to use a scraper to clean your bottom then you are long past needing new paint, regardless of how old it is. If you use a scraper but could, in reality, do the job with a scrubber, then you are contributing to the early demise of an otherwise good bottom paint.
