Re: overheating

bleed it seemed to do ok, ran for straight 1.5 hour before we shut it down to come home, seemed to be low on coolant, filled it till it came out bleed hole.
should over flow tank be full?
long story short it is running and didn't change temp much, highest reading was around 180 on rad cap and around 130 on heat exchanger . I wish i had wrote temp down but i'm going back nov.5th

Re: overheating

Glad to hear that bleeding the system helped. I thought that was the problem.
Your overflow tanks should not be full. I'd say 50-75% full when hot and 25-50% full when cold.

Re: overheating

I'd take 1/3 out when the generator is up to full temp with a heavy load.
