Outfitting in Ft. Lauderdale area

We will be outfitting our Lagoon 450 in the Ft. Lauderdale area mid November and December.

I am looking for the right spot to tie up and do my work. I would like a place with chandleries near by.

Any suggestions?

We refitted in Lauderdale Marine...It is the best yard we have ever been in, they have a good dock and let you work on your own boat but it is not cheap. There is a good chandlery that can order anything you need.

Playboy boat yard is cheaper but not as nice.

And also a pretty good distance from anything including a chandlery. Only works if you have a car, but like you say, it's cheaper.
