Our restoration is being featured on Jensen Motorboat's new site

We've had our S&S Yawl at Jensen Motorboat in Seattle for the last couple years for a full restoration. Over time they've amassed a ton of images and with the redesign of their website decided to feature her on their Gallery section.

If anyone needs any work done I can highly recommend them as a rock solid yard with a high level of integrity and attention to detail.

Lots of varnish still happening & the deck is being painted this week before we fit deck hardware.

Here's the image gallery they've posted:

Thanks, it's been a long haul, but it'll be worth it. Total rebuilds can be a difficult process, but in the end this will be a great example of Nevins' work and Olin's design prowess.

It's too shiny, I'd be scared to sail it now, you might scratch it.

That's the nice thing about being part of the family over there now.. I just bring it back over every winter and let them buff out all the wear and tear!

Jensen's that kinda place. I'd miss them too much if we never went back after we finish.

You're not going to, like, put that work of art in the water are you?

My thoughts exactly!

I'd be afraid to do anything except keep it in a showroom. I spent 10 years restoring the Ugly Duckling and I can beat the hell out of her, do a little touch up and she'll look none the worse.

Wish she'd been done sooner, but we'll be wrapped up soon. Hope to get a few years in our favorite cruising are before it's gone:
