Gord and others, lets see how good you are.

I am after a Mariner 20hp 2 stroke manual for a 97 model motor.
Specifically what I need is details on cleaning the carby as think I either have
1) a bit of crap floating around and settling stopping fuel flow
or
2) perhaps float filling with fuel and flooding the engine, but then miraculously it comes good again after performs normally.

Symptoms are motor runs flawlessly until you stop then when you start again you can't get revs, it bogs down and stops.
Pumping primer bulb, disconnecting and reconnecting fuel line, swearing and then nursing fuel bulb with occasional squeeze gets you home again as if nothing was ever wrong.

I have cleaned filter, have disconnected fuel line at carb and primer bulb pumps steady flow of fuel through so it would seem its something after the fuel line into carby.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Do you need any mercury manuals on pdf format!!!
Hoping that a) it works and b) a 20hp Merc is the same as a 20hp Mariner.
I'll let you know if the computer blows up after opening

add: Cool, scanned clean, and appears to be exactly what they say it is

add 2: appears the same as a Mariner 20hp.
19 pdf files for each section of the engine.

Has anyone figured out where Raymarine have hidden their older manuals for things like the R80 series radars and chart plotters? Their new web site has broken all the links I have used for the past couple of years. The Raymarine manual links in this thread are broken now too. Why do people never learn when they create a new and "improved" web site that they should not break all these links to technical data.

I found that but the manuals for Pathfinder systems such as R and RL units are not listed. Apparently they are trying to forget about these older systems.

Flir/Raymarine has updated their web site with the discontinued product manuals. It is actually quite good. The link can be found via:

Does anyone know of a Ford workshop manual for the 2720 series (Dover) engines as used by later Lehman, Sabre etc. marinisations? I have a 2700 series manual but am looking for one for the newer range.

I do have a Lehman operators manual and parts list for the 2720 series in pdf form if anybody wants one.

I have digital copies of the manuals for a Volvo Penta AQ271A and DP290 Outdrive. Includes spare parts manuals I put together myself from reliable sources across the Internet. Includes part numbers and exploded drawings.
