Non skid - Gripetx VS Intergrip

I am in the Philippines and all I can find is overpriced Griptex extra coarse, and International Intergrip.
silica sand is available but not part of this question

I think that the Awlgrip Griptex extra coarse grade will be too coarse

The International spec sheet does not give a sieve size. How does it compare to the Griptex grades?

Intergrip is finer than Griptex extra coarse, about the same as coarse.

Re: Non skid - Gripetx VS Intergrip

Do you think that is too coarse for the deck on a sailboat?
From what I read here it seems that the favourite is a 50% mix of coarse and fine

we are searching for other local sources of plastic beads but so luck so far and all we can find is silica sand.
Not too keen on sand if it ever needs redone in the future, sanding sand will not be easy.

Yes, the mix quote is from me, that's my favorite recipe. Intergrip will do fine. Purchase just a little and do a test panel first if you're not certain.
