Nice Haulout Marinas Fla

We need to spend about a month on the hard this winter on east coast Florida to do the bottom and some other projects. We are looking for a yard where we can live aboard while doing this.

We need a DIY yard but would like a place with nice showers, laundry, etc.

Something a cut above the 'working' yards. Don't need a first class resort, something in between. And, of course, at a reasonable rate.

in NE FL check out Oasis Boatyard in St Augustine. I am rebuilding my boat there and it is a great facility, plenty of live-aboards as well. Oasis Boatyard and Marina

For something cheaper, Green Cove Springs Marina up the St. Johns River is a great place for liveaboard/cruiser types to get work done. Green Cove Springs Marina - The Cruiser's Homeport

that is correct.

Oasis in St Augustine is within a bike ride of facilities.

Playboy Marine in Ft. Lauderdale is a GREAT DIY yard. Really reasonable haul out rates.

Indiantown Marina.... It is inland a bit from Stuart, behind 2 locks and fresh water. Close to shopping, decent amenities

I don't think I would want to liveaboard at Playboy Marine... The name is deceiving...

Unless it has changed since I was there it is a pretty barren location and a long hike to anything. I did liveaboard while doing a paint job and minor refit. Wasn't too bad if you do have a car.

Thanks for the extra info.

We definitely want to be within walking or short bike ride to supplies.
We want good clean shower/restroom facilities.
Secure yard in a safe neighborhood.
Nice place to spend a month but at decent prices.
