Newport 30 Sloops

Lookin at a very nice Newport 30 and I'm trying to figure out what common problems these boats have, how they handle, etc..

An inexpensively produced production boat but very roomy and depending on its care and upgrades could be a great bargain. Fuel tank was an issue with the one I was serious about buying at one time.

Pretty good sailer.

I can say that for the same money, you could buy a Catalina 27. Better sailing, better construction.
