New to Long Beach , CA

Hello! I've just taken a slip in Long Beach, CA for the year. I'm looking for any local references/leads to:
1)Bottom cleaner; 2)Topside Cleaning: 3)Diesel Mechanic; 4)Best non-WM marine chandlerie.

Any other local wisdom most welcome.

Long Beach is so beautiful! Who knew!?

Thanks!

Oh, and also would love any recommendation on a marine varnisher/painter kind of guy (or gal!)
Thanks,
Geoff

Bottom Cleaner - we used Bottoms Up Complete Hull Maintenance | Alamitos Bay, Shoreline Marina, Huntington Harbor, and Wilmington Marinas

For a non-WM store try Captain's Locker in Alamitos Bay

Are you in Shoreline Marina? If so, check out Shoreline Yacht Club. The folks there can get you up to speed pretty fast.

Hello Geoff,
I see from your profile you have a Formosa 41. Are you in Shoreline Marina or Alamitos Bay? If in Shoreline the guy who does most all the varnish and paint work is "Jose". Ask at any boat being worked on.

For bottom cleaning I use Jose Gutierrez (310) 462-0370. I'm in Alamitos Bay now but have used him in both places.

For diesel mechanics I've been happily using Advanced Marine Power for 15 years and recommend them highly. Gregg Fountaine and his wife Shelly own the shop. Gregg does all my work himself. (949) 548-9791.

PM me if I can be of any other help.
