Need Help - What Is the Proper Name for a Part ?

Hi, can someone help me with the proper name for the transom protection rubbery/plastic material on sugar scoop type of boats, protecting the final edge. I am not a native English speaker so can't think of a name for it to even search for it...

I have attached a sample photo of what I mean (the photo is not of my boat but some Lagoon 380).

Also does someone know what kind exactly have they used on Lagoon 410 catamarans, possibly on all the Lagoon catamarans?

Thank you..

Many thanks to all, this helps a lot! Yes rub rail sounds just about right and this gunnel guard seems like a good one also. Lancerbye, it should be rather rubber or plastic than aluminum or steel but thanks anyway

The aluminum rub rails have vinyl inserts which cover the attachment holes and provide the flexible bumper you want. Search Rub Rail Vinyl Inserts.
