Need Advise Where to Buy Affordable Sound / Noise Plates

Im searching online for a place that sells affordable plates to mount on the walls inside engine compartement. In my boat all the walls are in steel. And I want some noise cancelling. So any good very affordable solutions or ideas?

McMaster Carr -- very well organized online catalog, but sometimes more expensive. Extremely fast shipping (here in California orders sometimes arrive the same day).
MSC Direct -- often the least expensive for random industrial parts, fast shipping, they often have sales with 20-50% off on huge classes of things ("safety equipment" "metal cutting tools"...), so a very good deal if you hit one of those sales.
Grainger

I've used the 1" lead lined foam with the aluminum foil face, both on a boat and when building enclosures for machines. It works very, very well, but is also one of the most expensive options. So I am also interested to hear people's experiences with less expensive materials.

Google "Mass Loaded Vinyl" Barrier Acoustic Insulation, as an alternative to lead.

I ordered mine from soundown.com, very happy with them. Perhaps not the cheapest, but they work. Vinyl embedded in foam is not that hard to find elsewhere either. But there you go.

Lowest price for Soundown that I could find was from JMSonline.net. I just purchased the 1 1/2" 32"x54" for about $60. Just started to install it and will not know how it performs until launch in June.
