Need a drain fitting for my Herreshoff 12 1/2

Hi
Does anyone know where I can get a flush mounted hull drain for my Herreshoff 12 1/2 day sailor. I want to haul her out of the water for a few months while Larry and I take off for warmer climes and don't want rain water settling in the bilge.

I believe the 12 1/2 is also called a Buzzard Bay, if it is -- many many years ago I helped restore and crewed on one. I seem to recall a drain on the starboard side at the low point.

Her name is Auriga is it????

There is a group in the Northeast (US) that may help.

Garboard drain or transom drain?

For a transom drain I often use these together. They are easy to peen over by hand, especially if you are experienced and own a bucking iron! I like to start the cut on both sides with a slightly over size hole saw, and then complete it with the proper size, so the flange sits truly flush or even recessed a hair. Then bed well.

Then the brass bung of your choice. I prefer the turn tight.
