Navman Depth Gauge problem

Right when I think all is fixed, there goes something else. Went out yesterday to check some final items before leaving for 5 weeks and found that my depth guage is not reading. I have power to the unit, Navman, it reads temp., but no depth. While out, it would come on periodically, then shut down again. Gauge had dashes where the numbers ahould be. It looked like when you go inot a deep spot and it is recalculaitng. I don't belive anything is on the transducer under the boat, just scraped with a pad a few weeks ago.

Pulled the wires and cleaned to be sure no corrosion. They were clean. Turned the unit off numerous times to see if resetting would help. nothing.

Suggestions on how to test?

Re: Navman Depth Gauge problem

Turned out to be the transducer. Gauge was showing temp and operating. Checked the cable and no cuts. Bought a new transducer, and all works.
