Re: Nauticat 52 Refit

When the legal needs are met, I hope you will let us know your plans. What a disaster. I hope the damage is accessible and repairable.

+1

Words fail me as to how sorry I am. If there was any way I could help, I'd be there in a heartbeat. This truly sucks.

Of all the guys for this to happen to...

Re: Nauticat 52 Refit

minaret,

Was there any structural damage? or is it all cosmetic? I mean, could you still launch and sail, with it wounded, and cherry it up later on? Or is that not an option for you?

This is unbelievable. I am devastated, its beyond words. I hope you'll get to the other end of this tragedy well enough to proceed with the plans. If there is anything we can do, please let us know.

So it's water damage?

That looks like a bit more than water damage. I'm praying it's blistered paint, but that last pic looks like gel.

I didn't like the look either... I'm crossing my fingers for no laminate damage... Then I would have to wish I was a glass monkey too...

minaret, thank goodness you have this thread to back up any claims. I think it will pay you back all the effort you put into documenting your refit.

Good luck with it Minaret. After all of your work and the help you've given others, you truly deserve a beautiful boat.

Re: Nauticat 52 Refit

Hi, minaret,

It's the end of the month here on the other side of the date line. I'm wondering if you're still waiting for input, or just how things are with you and your good lady--and the boat, of course. Not nagging. I'm sure you'll let us know when there's something to say, just did not want you to think we'd forgotten you.

All the best to all of you, family and boat.

Ann
