Angry My Cadillac C/V shaft!

I just want to complain. I have a C/V shaft for a 1980 Cadillac eldorodo as a flexible coupling from transmission to the propeller shaft. They now call this setup a "aqua drive". Anyway I needed it to be longer so my Son made a temporary shaft so we could use the boat and get it in the slip. Now I can't get it out!! I have been working on it for 2 days and it will not move. Boats suck. I feel better now.. Tomorrow I'll try again.

My Son got it out last night!!! He went back to his work place and made a tool that pulled the shaft off! So today I'm off to the drive line shop to see if they can make a new shaft.

Irwin, That's cool - that your son dives in and works on an equipment problem. Will he be traveling south with you? Every good boat needs a good mechanic.
