I've owned Morgan Out Islands for 44 of my 45 years living aboard and cruising. Sure, they are heavy "trucks" and not performance boats, but no vessel does better with extra weight higher aboard and tiles are heavy. I'd go with the hammer and chisel attempt first,- no heat...no solvents...no fumes.

What's the year and model of your Out Island? I would welcome being a source for your questions about some specifics about options, upgrades and potential problems to look for.

A multitool with a scraper blade, definitely. Note that cheap old saw blades that are now blunted do perfectly good duty as scraper blades
