Re: Morgan 321 help

Any marine surplus stores in your area? Try that.

Another idea. If you can find hinges that are larger than the missing hinges buy those and use a grinder to cut them down to match the old missing hinges.

Hmmm.. not an expert on the Morgan 321, but those don't look like the original hinges for that hatch. Given the location of the hinge point, it looks like the back of the hatch would hit the combing when opening.

The size of the hinges also look a bit small for the application. I'd do as Skipmac said.

Re: Morgan 321 help

All great suggestions. My issue is the strap style hinge in one side and the square butt style on the other. I will continue my search. Thanks

Re: Morgan 321 help

Mine (OI 33) is similiar. What I have is teak blocks under the hinges tp make the hinges ride on the same plane as the hatch. Should be fairly easy to duplicate. The hinges are similiar to strap hinges. Any aftermarket set should work. Larger ones will be sure to cover the old bolt holes.

Thank you. Did you put teak blocks under the hatch side or the deck?

Could you PM me a picture if you have one?
