Modernizing a Classic Cruiser

While pondering what to do about a couple of things I suddenly realized that my 1993 delapadated Travel Trailer had some really nice appliances. The all black appliances, Microwave, refer, oven with four burner top would look beautiful in my galley. And thats when I thought oh wow, I have a power converter in the rv too and forced air propane heat.
Now comes the fun part, going and 1. Taking every single spider web woven wire out of the ship and going back in from scratch or 2. pulling one wire at a time and running a new line from each switch one by one. The ship has a new fused panel located in the head but even it is not clean wiring. Well anyhow I will add more thoughts as I have them and I look forward to all yours as we embark this new project. I'm even thinking of installing a generator.

Take the old wire out and recycle it, take that money and buy new wire properly sized for the voltage drop of the new distances. I've rewired boats and found its easier to take all the wire out at once, just remember to run messengers when you do.

A messanger is a string that you tie to the old wire before you pull it out so you are left with a string in the wires place. When its time for new wire you tie to string and pull the string through.

I would guess the propane heater will be a bad idea. It won't be designed to hold up to marine environments. It's ventilation needs will be different as well.
