Merriman Snatch Blocks

Anyone have old #2, #3, or #4 Merriman Wooden Snatch Blocks? I can restore if the wood and primary metal parts aren't completely shot. I have a 1959 wood sloop that has most of the original blocks, but I'm missing the #4 in particular.
thanks.

check Blue Pelican Marine Nautical Consignments - Home.
Last time I was in they had a wall of cool old wooden blocks.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that he has what you need!

Folks around here are always interested in pics of boat projects. What are you doing to yours?

Re: Merriman Snatch Blocks

We're doing a total restoration on a Kettenburg K-40. I did all the new electrical and rewiring myself, but let the experts do the hull. The boat is currently in Port Townsend, Wa for new sails, standing rigging and cushions. I'll see if I can figure out how to post some photos on my account.

Nothing from Blue Pelican. Maybe they don't read their emails. I'll call tomorrow between meetings.

Try these:

Used Hardware

Second Wave-Marine Consignment Stores (in Seattle) They don't list everything. Call them.

Or maybe you could make one from this info: http://members.cox.net/yachtingitems/Merriman1928.pdf
