That looks like it. I have thought of having a sunbrella cover cinched around it but it does not seem to have degraded over the years.

Yep thats it. Works a treat as mast boot. Much better then trying to wrap that yacht priced thin walled 4" stuff.

I was going to apply another self sealing tape of more recent vintage to see if I can stop the leak, but now considering using that universal mast boot by ssi. I wonder if I can use those plastic wire ties in lieu of the hose clamp? Much cheaper and would seem to work just as well considering that a silicon sealant would form the seal between the plastic and the mast. Also thinking about sikaflex 221 for the sealant and putting that into the internal slot too.
