Marine Surveyor in Trinidad

Im looking at purchasing a boat located in Trinidad. Anyone have a recommendation for a good marine surveyor? I'll be going down to inspect the boat in a couple of weeks and would like to also interview a surveyor or two.

Thanks also for the referral to Dynamite. The only concern I have with a recommendation by a marine service is I don't know how objective they will be when recommending a surveyor. But I'll contact them anyway.

Were you ever able to find a surveyor on Trinidad? I am now in a situation where I need a marine surveyor completed by a NAMS or SAMS surveyor. The insurance company I plan to use is requiring the NAMS/SAMS certification on their resume.

Looking for any personal experience or recommendations for a NAMS/SAMS surveyor on Trinidad.

Try contacting Yacht Services Association of Trinidad and Tobago, YSATT.com, for referrals. I was able to find a surveyor that was accepted by my insurance company some years ago.
