Marinas contractors in Bonaire

Buyer be ware... for anyone who is going to or spending any time in Bonaire please note i had my yacht for six months in Harbour Village Marina its safe and secure but on the downside the staff and facilities arent as advertised. It was heart breaking trying to get an email from or report on the yacht whilst it was there and required lots of expensive phone calls to find out what was going or not going on. The managment of the resort as on the website have a nice restaurant and pool and also a beach but all the gates that connect the resort to the marina are locked and Marina guests are not really welcome there hence the run around and locked gates.
My most unfortunate experience however in Bonaire was trying to get maintenance jobs completed whilst i was away working at sea as a commercial ship Captain in the offshore oil and gas industry, The Marina didnt want any connection with contractors and dont do any work themselves hence i was recommended to use Island Boat Services of Bonaire by the Manager of Budget Marine who recommended them both the partners of this business will claim the world unfortunately i didn't find out until had sent 2000$ to there bank account that they were charletons and shysters BEWARE my friends when i arrived back in Bonaire found i had been charged 700.00 to varnish the sole in a 39 foot yacht and charged another 2,500 for supposed rigging and solar power hook up which involver 5 connections, and i eventually left a very angry man without the solar panels set up or the promised panel brackets, these guys are completely unqualified to do electrical work and hold no trade papers they claimed that they were raymarine contracters and agents for Johnson outboards (but couldnt get any parts) i now see that they advertise on there site as raymarine agents so i will be contacting raymarine to see if this is true and if so how they could award a dealership maintenance agreement to two dutch guys without any qualifications? Friends and cruisers please do your homework before using Isalnd Boat Services Bonaire or you will be incredibly disilusioned as i was, not to mention out of pocket. And pee'd off in the extreme i hope the f wit enjoys the tshirts i gave him early in the piece.
