Marina/yard for do-it-yourself work in Ft. Lauderdale area

I am going to spend about 1 months in the Ft, Lauderdale area starting about 20 November. I am looking for recommendations to berth our Lagoon 450 (45 by 26 feet) catamaran and do our own work while in the water (solar, inverter, bimini, minor rigging).

No welding, no painting.

Good selection of chandleries nearby is good. We do not need entertainment options - too busy working.

Try the Isles off las Olas, Isle of Venice and Hendricks Isle. There are not too many places to berth cat in the area with liveaboards, but a ton of marine chandleries...

Lauderdale Marine is a first class yard and they allow you to work on your own boat and everything, including a chandlery that can order everything at competative price, is on site. However, I am not sure they allow you to work on the boat in the water, just call and ask

'Just Catamarans' on the Dana Canal south of Fort Lauderdale is in a lower rent district. Worth a phone call to Kent to check out their situation. Had work completed by them and on our own when they were at Lauderdale Marine Center on the New River. Not sure how it goes at the new digs.
