Lifeline improvements on Sailboats

Recently during our S2 9.1 Restoration we removed the life line post and repaired the fiberglass under the post because of stress fractures. We installed some 1/4" T316 Stainless Steel plate 8"x10" between the post and deck. Marking the holes from under the deck and then drilling them on a drill press. Make sure to ease all edges as needed to prevent injury. Caulk with the best marine grade caulk available and tighten bolts to spec. Call Magnus at 843 364 3700 if you have any questions.
