Lewmar opening portlight dog adhesive?

Hi there,
One of the dogs/latches on a Lewmar opening portlight fell off. It appears to have been glued on. There is no positive attachment hardware. You can see the remnant adhesive on the light. There is none on the fitting.
Any advice on how to re-adhere it?
Thanks

It’s very difficult. The original is a heat/pressure application.

Some have had semi-success using gel-type CA glue.

A gelled cyanoacrylate “Super Glue” should work as well as anyhing.

Re: Lewmar opening portlight dog adhesive?

Thanks everyone for the replies. Coopec43, those links were great, and hopefully provided correct information.
I am currently sailing in Colombia, but will return to reply to this thread once I have found and tried an adhesive.
Thanks Again

I have used acetone to glue two acryllics together but unsure of the dog material.
